In Dynamics NAV 2009 and older we had an option to maintain views in the database. Activating this caused NAV to create a view for each language and every table in the database. This functionality was removed in NAV 2013 and later releases.
This is a useful thing if you are building BI on top of your SQL and would like to skip all the translation work.
Now you can manually select the tables you need to build a localized view for and maintain only the needed views in your database.

This is a web service used as a bridge between NAV and a hardware client running on the host computer. This moves all communication between the software and the hardware to standard web requests. That means that as long as the NAV service and the hardware client can both access the Hub service they will always be able to communicate. Clients and demo code for NAV are available on Dynamics.is
Scan document with NAV via the Hardware Hub. A document scanning solution that uses the Hardware Hub. This means that you can place the scanner on any computer and the NAV Windows Client on any or the same computer.
All you need is the Hardware Hub Twain Client on the computer that is connected to the scanner.
We have some cases where the Dynamics NAV client is running in a remote desktop and the local machine has a bar code scanner connected. One way is to have the bar code scanner configured as a keyboard. This requires the focus on the correct input field in NAV to work. The other way is to have the scanner configured to use a Serial Communication Port.
